Independence Support Ltd (ISL) provides high-quality supported living services in Crewe, Cheshire, supporting adults with complex mental health needs to live independently, confidently and safely within their own homes.

Our Crewe service supports 22 individuals in self-contained apartments equipped with modern assistive technology, helping people develop the skills, confidence and resilience to achieve greater independence.

Alongside our supported living service, we also operate a Mental Health Crisis Café, providing short-term support, guidance and signposting for people experiencing difficulties with their mental health. This gives our team the opportunity to support people at different stages of their mental health and recovery journey.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred, outcome-focused support, empowering people to build confidence, develop life skills and achieve greater independence.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting with medication management
• Teaching and encouraging daily living skills
• Assisting with household tasks and daily routines
• Supporting community access and meaningful activities
• Providing emotional support
• Supporting individuals to manage and maintain their tenancy
• Working alongside healthcare professionals to achieve the best possible outcomes

Who We’re Looking For

We’re recruiting Full-Time (37.5 hours) and Part-Time (23.5 hours) Support Workers.

You’ll work flexibly across day and night shifts on a 7-day rota. Shift patterns include:

• 8:00am – 8:00pm
• 8:00pm – 8:00am
• 10:00am – 6:00pm
• 10:00am – 10:00pm

Experience in mental health, supported living or social care is desirable but not essential. We provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training, so we’re looking for people with compassion, resilience and a genuine commitment to helping others.
