Leanne Chadwick - Service Manager, Stoke on Trent Supported Living

I work within ISL as a Service Manager in Stoke on Trent. My role is to support the staff team to deliver great outcomes with people who have varied mental health needs within a supported living environment. Our aim as a team is to make a positive difference in peoples  lives and support them to be the best that they can be and to fully achieve their own potential.

Care has always been a passion of mine and I have worked within this sector for around 19 years, during this time I have supported people with learning disabilities within their own homes, supported people with Dementia, End of Life and Residential. I have completed my Assessing qualification, been a support worker, senior support worker, manager, Registered Manager of a Domiciliary Service and an area manager.

I am looking forward to working within ISL and the positive changes we are able to provide to the wider community.

Sarah Hall - Service Manager, Blackpool and Bolton supported Living

Sarah Hall - Service Manager, Blackpool and Bolton supported Living

I started my role as a Service Manager for ISL in Summer 2018 working at our Blackpool Site

I managed this service for  7 months until our Service at Bolton Opened in Feb 19. I was then pleased to have the opportunity to manage both sites.

My pervious employment before joining ISL was working in drug and alcohol services in Blackpool. As a qualified substance misuse practitioner I gained a great knowledge and understanding of mental health and the impact addiction had not only on individuals physical, mental health, employment opportunities, housing, criminality but also their families including parents, siblings and children.

Being a mum of a son who has a differential diagnosis of Asperger’s, bipolar, EUPD, and behavioural problems, I completely understood the need for services like ISL and couldn’t ask for anymore but to be a part of a much needed service.

In my role as a manager there is nothing more than job satisfaction. Seeing staff work to their best of their ability encouraging and prompting cleints to reach their potentials , gaining confidence and life skills in the process.

Zoe Young – Finance Assistant and Business Administrator

I joined ISL with over 8 years’ experience in finance, housing and management, this included liaison with educational boards, overseeing housing options for international students, supporting their diverse needs and managing the administration and finance details attached to this. I am passionate about people and these roles gave me the opportunity to support others practically and realise that passion.

My role at ISL is to support the Director of Operations in day to day financial management for the business and support the Board and Service Managers with administration to allow them to focus more on service delivery and give our clients the best support possible. I like to learn and will continue to do so to benefit ISL, colleagues and clients.

My values are important to me and I am proud to be part of an organisation and team that is young, innovative, challenges the status quo and makes a difference in our communities.

Tracie Jennings – Service Manager, York Supported Living

With a background of training and consultancy in mental health and experience of working as a Registered Manager, I wanted to utilise my skills and passion by working with an organisation committed to recognising the great potential in people.

I enjoy the simple things in life, such as walking on the beach during the winter months when its much quieter, I love spending time with my friends and family, especially my grandchildren who teach me all the songs and dance moves to their favourite films and when I get some down time, I love to read.

I am inspired by new experiences and by seeing the positive changes we can make to people’s lives. I am looking forward to all that I can bring to contribute at an organisation and service level. I relish the opportunity of having being part of the team delivering the service in York from day one and enabling people to have the opportunity to live independently and develop new skills and experiences.

Misty Adair - Team Leader, Blackpool Supported Living

Misty Adair - Team Leader, Blackpool Supported Living

I have worked for ISL Since 2017, soon after the service opened. It has been one of the most rewarding roles I have ever fulfilled. Helping people adapt to life’s challenges and giving people the opportunity to develop life skills and access support as part of the local community and living the lives they choose is definitely the job for me.

I have had 8 years of mental health experience in both my professional and personal life and has always been a passion of mine. I enjoy leading our team as we all work really well together. I ensure everyone is heard and everyone is equal and it works amazingly in providing the best service we can with the people we support. I am proud to be part of an amazing fast growing service that delivers great outcomes for people.
