Independence Support Ltd (ISL) provides high-quality supported living services in Chester, empowering adults with complex mental health needs to live safely, confidently and as independently as possible. Our St Marks service supports 14 individuals in modern, self-contained apartments enhanced with advanced assistive technology, ensuring a safe and person-centred environment.

What You’ll Do

As a Support Worker at St Marks, you will provide outcome-focused, person-centred support tailored to each individual’s needs. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Supporting with medication management
  • Teaching and developing independent living skills
  • Assisting with daily routines and life tasks
  • Encouraging community engagement and meaningful activities
  • Providing emotional support and building positive, trusting relationships
  • Supporting with tenancy management
  • Liaising with healthcare and mental health professionals to ensure holistic support

Your role helps each person maintain stability, develop skills, and work towards long-term independence.


Who We’re Looking For

We are recruiting:

  • Full-time Support Workers – 37.5 hours
  • Part-time Support Workers – 23.5 hours

You must be able to work day and night shifts across a 7-day rota. A full induction and training package is provided.
