Vicky Ramage

I started my career in health and social care at 18 years of age, this was in a residential home and initially was a summer job. I fell in love with the role and worked hard for the clients and this changed my path from here on. I completed a years voluntary work as a live in carer and then went to university where I was a student nurse.

Over the next 25 years I have supported people with mental health issues, learning disabilities, substance and alcohol dependency to improve their lives and support to independence. Over the years I have gained a vast amount of experience being a support worker and then progressing to opening and managing services and being a Registered Manager of a supported living service and also a care home.

I am passionate about supporting people to have opportunities that we all strive for and to ensure that they have an excellent quality of support and can achieve their goals to have a fulfilled life.
