Feeling Listened To

I started work as a support worker at Mersey gardens in January. I have worked in care settings for 16 years doing a variety of jobs. I settled straight into my role as support worker very quickly and this is because its a complete mixed bag of different care needs. I have been able to express my ideas and opinions and I'm pleased to say that that all of my ideas have been seen and heard by management and actioned. I feel completely at ease working at Mersey gardens. Every day is different and any challenges we face as a team we are supported fully by senior staff and management. We get regular praise and we are provided with extra support and guidance when it is required. I can say confidently that I personally am happy in my role as a support worker and look forward to what the future holds for Mersey gardens.
