HBV Groups's Jonny Wrigley becomes a Support Worker for the day

The Managing Director of the HBV Group Jonathan Wrigley became a support worker for a day at ISL’s supported living service in Tranmere.

This is especially relevant as it was Jonny and the HBV team that initially presented the concept of this service and then managed it through to completion and handover, so now Jonny has followed the complete journey to see for himself the importance of their part within the partnerships and the difference they make to people’s lives.

Feedback from the ISL team and clients is that a great day was had by all and Jonny would be number one recruitment target should he give his MD role up.

“it was a truly humbling experience to see how dedicated all the team are and how happy the tenants are.

Having the first-hand experience of how the service operates reinforced everything we are doing collectively in the sector, particularly creating communities which was so evident here.

It was undoubtably one of the best run and calm services I have seen in 15 years of developing in the sector”
