Storm Property Operations Director Josh Roden becomes a Support Worker for the day

Written by: ISL

The Operations Director of Storm Property Josh Roden recently became a Support Worker for a day at ISL’s Chester Crisis Service.

Chester Crisis service provides support to people experiencing mental health crisis including both hospital avoidance and hospital step down pathways, delivered in in partnership with Cheshire Wirral Partnership NHS. Josh had the opportunity to step into the shoes of a support worker and experience first-hand the important work they do in helping vulnerable individuals in our community. He spent the day shadowing a support worker, assisting with daily activities and providing emotional support to those in need. Josh’s commitment to taking part in the Support Worker for the Day indicative at our Chester service is especially relevant as it was Storm Property who developed the service ready for opening in 2022.

Josh gave us his own reasons for taking part in the day which you can see in the video above.

Thanks from all at ISL to Josh and the team, for the day together.
