Easter Celebrations Across ISL

Written by: ISL

This Easter, our services came together to celebrate with creativity, community spirit, and plenty of chocolate! From crafts and competitions to fundraising and shared meals, it’s been a fantastic few weeks filled with joy and engagement across our services.

🌼 Chester

Easter Monday was a great success in Chester, with clients enjoying a variety of activities including an Easter egg hunt, Easter bingo, and a themed quiz. The day was topped off with plenty of Easter eggs and cakes, and the atmosphere was lively throughout. It was a truly enjoyable day that brought everyone together.

🎨 Tranmere

It’s been a busy and creative time in Tranmere, where clients from Mersey Gardens took part in crafting papier-mâché eggs for the Easter competition. The entries were fantastic, showcasing creativity and teamwork.

Clients also had a ‘Cracking Easter’, making their own Easter eggs with prizes awarded for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place. A raffle raised an impressive £122 for Stick ‘n’ Step—an incredible effort.

A huge thank you goes to May Kelly for organising the event and providing prizes each year—your continued support makes a real difference.

The celebrations didn’t stop there, with an Easter egg hunt, plus a Saturday surprise lunch filled with crafts and music, making it a memorable time for everyone involved.

🧁 Stoke & Hillcrest

In Stoke, clients baked delicious Easter cupcakes decorated with egg and butterfly toppings, alongside classic chocolate nests.

Hillcrest also hosted their annual Easter egg hunt, with clients making their own handmade paper baskets to collect their eggs—adding a lovely personal touch to the day.

🎨 Morley

Morley kicked off Easter with a creative egg painting session, producing some colourful and imaginative designs.

The celebrations continued with a wonderful Easter afternoon tea, complete with homemade chocolate nests—bringing everyone together to relax and enjoy the occasion.

🍰 Crewecial

Crewecial hosted a cosy Easter Sunday baking session, where clients made delicious cakes and treats. The day also included jacket potatoes and Easter films, creating a relaxed and homely atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.

🐰 York

In York, staff Debbi and Rachael organised a “Guess the Bunny’s Name” fundraiser in support of their charity partner, St Nicks.

Congratulations to Gill, who won a large Easter egg! Together, the team raised £53, bringing their total fundraising amount so far this year to £85—an amazing achievement.

🎩 ISL Easter Bonnet Competition

Our Easter Bonnet Competition, held on our internal communications platform, brought out some incredible creativity across our services!

Hillcrest created a standout design featuring a bunny popping out of an Easter hat, decorated with eggs and flowers – and even included staff and clients modelling it in a fantastic set of photos.

Rathmell enjoyed a fun-filled day crafting a variety of bonnets and creating an Easter-themed craft wall.

Alsager submitted a bright yellow and green bonnet, complete with a shredded paper nest, chicks, and colourful bunny ears.

Tranmere saw KN enter a beautiful bonnet featuring pink feather bunny ears.

Crewecial impressed with a unique bonnet made entirely from paper and feathers, complete with dangling “Happy Easter” egg earrings.

🏆 And the Winner is… Sandbach!

Sandbach took first place with a truly thoughtful and creative design inspired by nature walks at Parkhouse. The bonnet featured handpicked wildflowers and included photographs taken by AH during health and wellbeing walks.

AH also played a key role in creating the bonnet, making this a brilliant example of creativity, collaboration, and personal achievement.
