Our Middlewich Step Down Service provides 8 self-contained apartments, offering a structured, supportive environment for adults who are transitioning from higher-support settings towards greater independence.

The service is designed as a stepping stone, enabling individuals to continue their recovery while developing the practical skills and confidence needed for more independent living. Residents receive personalised support that focuses on building daily living skills, increasing independence, and working towards long-term goals at a pace that suits them.

Each apartment is fitted with assistive technology infrastructure, providing reassurance and promoting independence while ensuring appropriate support is always available.

Our experienced support team works closely with multi-disciplinary teams (MDTs), healthcare professionals, and partner organisations to deliver coordinated, person-centred support that reflects each individual’s needs and aspirations. The ultimate aim is to help people progress successfully to the next stage of their independence journey.
