ISL “Standards Exceed” in the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit
We’re really pleased to share that we’ve achieved “Standards Exceeded” in the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit (DSPT) for 2025/26.
The DSPT is an annual assessment used across health and social care organisations to make sure personal information is being handled safely, securely, and in line with national data protection requirements.
Reaching “Standards Exceeded” means we’re operating above the expected standard for data security and information governance. It reflects the strength of our systems, processes, and the way we work day to day to keep information protected.
For us, this isn’t just about compliance. It’s about trust. Behind every piece of data is a person, a family member, or a partner organisation placing confidence in how we handle their information.
We’ve built strong information governance into how we work across the organisation. From frontline teams through to leadership, everyone is supported to maintain high standards around confidentiality, data handling, and digital security.
This outcome reflects our ongoing commitment to providing safe, person-centred support while making sure sensitive information is always protected to the highest standard.
As a team, we’re proud of this achievement – and we’ll continue building on it as part of our wider focus on quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across everything we do.
