June Roundup Blog
ISL has had a vibrant few weeks across its services, packed with engaging activities and community spirit. Highlights include the Eskdale tea party, Coach Sean’s healthy cooking sessions with clients, and memorable fun days out to Little Moreton Hall. Sports and fitness were also in full swing with participation in the Leeds five-a-side tournament at Morley and Chapel, alongside a continued focus on health and wellbeing, and personal growth with the ISL VR headsets. On the charity front, teams took part in the Chester afternoon tea event, the Macclesfield steps challenge, and the Alsager Spring Fling – all raising funds and awareness while bringing people together.
Coming up; a special mention goes to client MJ, who is due to receive his Royal recognition for completing his Duke of Edinburgh Award. Team Rapid are set to climb Mount Snowdon, Team Stoke will be joining the DougieMac Moonlight Walk, and Team Tranmere are preparing for the Wirral Coastal Walk. There’s also plenty more in store with upcoming service sports days, fun days and much more!
