Meet Simon

Originally from Hull, Simon joined one of our Leeds supported living services and, after making excellent progress, has recently moved into a Step Down service – a fantastic milestone that reflects just how far he has come.

After a long struggle with addiction, Simon is now celebrating one year of sobriety. In this video, he speaks openly about his experience with amphetamine, how he broke the cycle with the right support around him, and shares heartfelt advice for anyone currently facing similar challenges.

Simon is a hugely valued member of our Leeds community. Whether he’s joining activities across our six services or lifting spirits with his humour, he brings joy, positivity and energy wherever he goes.

His journey is a reminder that recovery is possible – and that with patience, support and determination, people can achieve incredible change.
