Independence Support Ltd (ISL) provides high-quality supported living services in Stoke-on-Trent, supporting adults with complex mental health needs to live independently, confidently and safely within their own homes.
Our Stoke service supports nine individuals in self-contained apartments equipped with modern assistive technology, creating an environment where people can build confidence, develop life skills and achieve greater independence.

About the Role
As a Support Worker, you’ll provide person-centred, outcome-focused support, helping individuals develop the skills and confidence they need to live fulfilling and independent lives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting with medication management
- Encouraging and developing daily living skills
- Assisting with household tasks and daily routines
- Supporting community access and meaningful activities
- Providing emotional support
- Supporting individuals to manage and maintain their tenancy
- Working alongside healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes
Who We’re Looking For
We’re recruiting part-time Support Workers (23.5 hours per week) who can:
- Work flexibly across day and night shifts
- Work as part of a 7-day rota
- Participate in a weekly on-call rota
Experience in mental health, supported living or social care is beneficial, but not essential. We provide a comprehensive induction and ongoing training, so we’re looking for people with the right attitude, compassion and commitment to helping others.
