Crisis Café Support Worker

Independence Support (ISL) operate a Crisis Café in Crewe.
The café provides a safe, welcoming and comfortable space away from a clinical environment for people in crisis and those seeking to prevent the onset of a crisis.
The onsite team provide emotional support and resilience building as well as supporting people to develop positive relationships. The service also provides practical advice and signposting.
The Crisis Cafe is open 7 days a week from 1pm - 10pm, 365 days a year.

If you are calm, compassionate, and have a keen interest in prevention services we are keen to hear from you.
Some previous mental health experience is desirable as the circumstances around the individuals we support are likely to be complex.
Full induction and training is provided.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
The contract for this service is initially for 12 months with a possibility of extension.
