Ruth Clark

I started working for ISL in Alsager as a support worker in October 2022, I moved up to deputy manager later that year.

I stepped up as Acting Service Manager in October 2023. I have a real passion for the job, the people we support and the team. I am committed to ensuring all clients have the opportunities and support to reach their full potential.

I worked in education for over 17 years, and have found there were many transferrable skills to bring to my new career in social care.

The ISL values are strong and the team here share these values, this helps to create a supported living service which enables the clients to gain new skills and independence, and it is a joy to see people’s progression.

I am really proud of the team in Alsager who share the same passion and drive for support work as I do.
