Megan McNaugher

I joined my journey at ISL in November 2021 as a support worker, and have since worked as a deputy manager, then acting service manager and have now progressed to service manager for Leeds (Chapel Allerton) mental health supported living service. Prior to joining ISL I completed a Psychology degree to equip me with the necessary knowledge to work in this sector.

I have always had a passion and drive to work in mental health. Throughout my career and studies, I have undertaken a wide range of training around mental health and learning disabilities. These trainings vary according to needs of individuals within this sector and capture a variety of important knowledge, skills and abilities required to do so; such as supporting individuals with a mental health dual diagnosis'. I am one of the internal trainers in delivering these courses among other's ISL staff to ensure a consistently high quality of support is delivered to our service users throughout our services.

My goal is to support clients on their journey to achieve Independence and to ensure our service provides comprehensive support at every step of their journey. This varies from enrolling in employment or education to being able to have daily living skills. I look forward to watching our service users and company grow and exceed our goals.
