Kirsty Gill

I work for ISL as a Service manager in Leeds (Pudsey) and Leeds Supported Living (Gildersome) .

I have 11 years of experience working within the health and social care sector, my skills ranging from working with vulnerable children and adults, working alongside complex brain injuries and mental health.

I started my path into health and social care as a support worker for a small charity who provided care and support to children who had parents with intense support needs themselves which I was recognised and won an award for in a Yorkshire Women of Achievements ceremony. I then moved into district caring, lone working and delivering a service to those in need in isolated locations. I then moved into dementia, EOL and brain injuries for a nationally recognised company.

I started my journey with ISL in March 2021, from then I have managed to obtain the knowledge which has thankfully allowed me to progress and establish myself within the company. I have also been trained in being able to successfully complete PBS plans across all health and social care settings.

I have a strong passion for mental health which is fuelling me to take full advantage of my position and platform to ensure I achieve a high standard of support for all clients. Also, ensuring  my staff team are able to show respect, compassion and understanding to all at Gildersome. Resulting in a happier more fulfilled life for the people we support.
