Sarah Hall

I started my role as a Service Manager for ISL in Summer 2018 working at our Blackpool site.

I managed this service for  7 months until our service at Bolton opened in Feb 19. I was then pleased to have the opportunity to manage both sites.

My pervious employment before joining ISL was working in drug and alcohol services in Blackpool. As a qualified substance misuse practitioner I gained a great knowledge and understanding of mental health and the impact addiction had not only on individuals physical, mental health, employment opportunities, housing, criminality but also their families including parents, siblings and children.

Being a mum of a son who has a differential diagnosis of Asperger’s, bipolar, EUPD, and behavioural problems, I completely understood the need for services like ISL and couldn’t ask for anymore but to be a part of a much needed service.

In my role as a manager there is nothing more than job satisfaction. Seeing staff work to their best of their ability encouraging and prompting clients to reach their potentials, gaining confidence and life skills in the process.
