Andrew Robson

I work with ISL as service manager at Leeds supported living (Chapel Allerton).

I have over 12 years’ experience working in health and social care. Most of my career has been spent working with adults with learning disabilities and mental health issues. I started in supported living as an enabler. I took to this really well and soon realised I had found the job for me. I quickly worked my way up into senior roles completing my NVQ level 2 and 3 before moving into management. I have since gone on to complete my Level 5 NVQ and become a registered manager.

During my time in this sector I have worked with adults and children with learning disabilities, adults with learning disabilities and mental health Issues and also with elderly people in care home settings and in the community.

This opportunity to open a new supported living service and contribute to ISL’s development is an exciting challenge and one I plan to take head on. I aim to provide an opportunity for clients to excel in gaining and maintaining independence while nurturing a staff team to be a great support network for our clients and to create a positive and inclusive environment for all to thrive in.
